Nous pouvons tous·tes contribuer et faire passer le message que nous devons être entendu·e·s, et ce, d’une voix FORTE. Que nous devons nous BATTRE et que nous devons le faire ENSEMBLE pour obtenir justice pour Sourour.

Le 4 mars, nous prévoyons de nous réunir à nouveau pour lancer notre appel à la justice. Ce serait donc formidable si nous avions déjà des dessins / textes / images prêts pour cette date.
Après le 4 mars, nos images et nos mots "Justice pour Sourour" doivent être vus, et le seront. Nous les afficherons sur nos fenêtres, les rues entendront notre message et nous ferons de même en ligne, en rendant vos dessins accessibles et imprimables chez soi.

Rassemblement Dimanche 14 mai à 14h place Poelaert.
En ce jour de fête des mères, mobilisons-nous pour Sourour, mère aimée et aimante, décédée aux mains de la police. Apportons toustes une fleur en sa mémoire, et en soutien à toutes les mères et les enfants endeuillé•es suite à des violences policières.
Sourour Abouda a perdu la vie dans un commissariat de la rue Royale à Bruxelles le 12 janvier 2023. Cinq mois plus tard, les résultats d’autopsie n’ont toujours pas été révélés, et absolument rien n’a été fait par l’État pour soutenir la famille. Le comité P - La police des polices - à jusqu'ici eu la ferme intention de garder l'affaire entre leurs mains, mais à partir du 9 mai, la famille va porter l’affaire devant un juge d’instruction et se constituer enfin partie civile. Cette affaire sera donc jugée par une instance indépendante.
Nous sommes au début du combat qui lui rendra justice.
Nous connaissons les noms de Samira, Mawda, Adil, Mehdi, Ibrahima,... Au-delà de ces victimes dont les noms ont pu émerger et être prononcés, plusieurs dizaines de personnes sont mortes sans qu’on en parle et sans personne pour les défendre en Belgique. C’est le cas de Ilyes Abbedou et Mohamed Amine Berkane, deux jeunes Algériens morts dans le même commissariat que Sourour en 2021. Ou bien même, Imed, nouvelle victime décédée de violences policières en date du 23 mars dernier…
Sourour était une maman aimante. Sourour était une fille aimée. Sourour était connue et appréciée à Bruxelles. Son nom résonne fort, et la révolte collective ne fera que grandir. A travers le combat pour lui rendre justice, nous voulons nous battre pour tous les autres. Pour que le racisme, les violences policières et l’impunité des agents de l’Etat cessent.

We can all contribute and get the message out that we need to be heard, we need to be LOUD, we need to FIGHT and we need to do it TOGETHER to get justice for Sourour.

On 4 March we plan to get together again to make our call for justice so it would be amazing if we already had some designs / texts / images ready for that date.
After 4 March our “Justice for Sourour” images and words need to be seen and they will be seen - we will display them in our windows, the streets will hear our message and we will do the same online, by making your designs accessible and printable at home via download.

Gathering Sunday, May 14 at 2pm at Place Poelaert.
On this Mother's Day, let's mobilize for Sourour, a beloved and loving mother who died at the hands of the police. Please bring a flower in her memory, and in support of all mothers and children bereaved by police violence.
Sourour Abouda lost her life in a police station at rue Royale in Brussels on January 12, 2023. Five months later, the autopsy results have still not been revealed, and absolutely nothing has been done by the state to support the family. Committee P (the body responsible for investigating the police) has so far had the firm intention to keep control of the case, but on May 9, the family will bring the case before a judge, finally allowing it to be judged by an independent authority.
We are at the beginning of the fight that will give justice to Sourour.
We know the names of Samira, Mawda, Adil, Mehdi, Ibrahima,... Beyond these victims whose names have been revealed and spoken, several dozen people have died without being talked about and without anyone to defend them in Belgium. This is the case of Ilyes Abbedou and Mohamed Amine Berkane, two young Algerians who died in the same police station as Sourour in 2021. Or even Imed, a new victim of police violence who died on March 23...
Sourour was a loving mother. Sourour was a beloved daughter. Sourour was known and deeply valued in Brussels. Her name resonates strongly, and the collective revolt will only grow. Through the fight to bring her justice, we want to fight for all the others. So that racism, police violence and the impunity of state agents will stop.

Samenkomst zondag 14 mei om 14.00 uur op het Poelaertplein.
Laten we op deze Moederdag in actie komen voor Sourour, een liefhebbende moeder die overleden is onder het toezicht van de politie . Laten we allemaal een bloem dragen ter nagedachtenis aan haar en als steun aan alle moeders en kinderen die door politiegeweld zijn omgekomen.
Sourour Abouda verloor haar leven in een politiebureau in de Koningsstraat in Brussel op 12 januari 2023. Vijf maanden later zijn de resultaten van de autopsie nog steeds niet vrijgegeven en heeft de staat helemaal niets gedaan om de familie te steunen. Comité P - de politie - heeft tot nu toe geprobeerd de zaak in eigen handen te houden, maar vanaf 9 mei zal de familie de zaak voor een onderzoeksrechter brengen en zich uiteindelijk als burgerlijke partij opwerpen. De zaak zal dus door een onafhankelijke instantie worden beoordeeld.
We staan aan het begin van de strijd die haar gerechtigheid zal brengen.
We kennen de namen van Samira, Mawda, Adil, Mehdi, Ibrahima,... Naast deze slachtoffers waarvan de namen bekend en uitgesproken zijn, zijn enkele tientallen mensen gestorven zonder dat erover gesproken werd en zonder dat iemand hen in België verdedigde. Zoals in het geval van Ilyes Abbedou en Mohamed Amine Berkane, twee jonge Algerijnen die in 2021 in hetzelfde politiebureau als Sourour zijn gestorven. Of Imed, een ander slachtoffer van politiegeweld dat op 23 maart stierf...
Sourour was een liefhebbende moeder. Sourour was een geliefde dochter. Sourour was bekend en gewaardeerd in Brussel. Haar naam weerklinkt sterk, en de collectieve opstand zal alleen maar groeien. Door te strijden voor haar gerechtigheid, willen we vechten voor alle anderen. Zodat het racisme, het politiegeweld en de straffeloosheid van de politie ophouden.
Gerechtigheid voor een moeder,
